Job Description:
A company is looking for an Audio Director to define and drive
the overall audio vision for a new fantasy IP.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee the game's audio direction in collaboration
with the creative vision
Collaborate with Design, Art, Narrative, and Technical teams to
integrate audio into the game
Design and implement high-quality soundscapes, music, and effects
for the MMO world
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of professional experience in game audio, with at least
one shipped AAA title as an Audio Director or Lead Audio
Designer
Expertise in sound design, music direction, and audio
implementation in games
Experience with middleware such as Wwise, FMOD, or proprietary
audio engines
Strong knowledge of audio pipeline development and technical
constraints
Proven creative and empathetic leader with experience growing a
department from early development through ship
