Job Description:
A company is looking for a Director, Data & Privacy Legal.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with leadership and teams to implement data regulations
for the Americas and EMEA
Develop and execute a comprehensive compliance program for
applicable data rules
Provide privacy counseling to Product teams and coordinate
international data flows
Required Qualifications
J.D. degree and active membership in at least one US state bar
(California or New York preferred)
12+ years of experience in an in-house legal department or law firm
related to financial services and technology
Extensive general privacy experience with a solid understanding of
US/EU data laws
Familiarity with major privacy regimes such as GDPR, CCPA, PDPA,
and PIPEDA
Experience managing and growing a team of lawyers
