Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:Basic Life Support certification is required within -30 days of hire.ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.One year of experience preferred.Department/Unit SummaryJoin our team in a 12-bed Behavioral Health Unit, located on the 5th floor, specializing in adult patients. - Staffed with compassionate healthcare professionals including RNs, Mental Health Assistants, Psychiatrists, Social Workers and Mental Health Providers. - Operating with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:8, our unit treats a variety of diagnoses such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), and Substance Use Disorder (SUD). - Patients may present with psychosis, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, mania, or exacerbations of mental illness. - This role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively in a supportive environment focused on providing quality care and support to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises.About our Health System
