qualified NICU RN in El Paso, Texas, 79902 About The Position Job
Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: NICU/PICU Transport Job
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Guaranteed Hours:
Experience: Minimum 1 year; Preferred 2 years in Neonatal,
Pediatric, L&D areas License: Licensed as an RN to practice in
the state of Texas Certifications: - BLS - ACLS - NRP (Neonatal
Resuscitation Program) - PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) -
STABLE Must-Have: - Recently required licensure/certifications - 24
months grace period for C-NPT (Neonatal Pediatric Transport) from
date of hire/transfer - 1-year grace period for TNCC (Trauma
Nursing Core Course) and ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course)
from date of hire/transfer Job Description: - Perform NICU/PICU
transport duties. - Work independently but cohesively within a
team. - Provide critical care transport experience. - Maintain high
standards of care for neonates and pediatrics. - Adhere to unit
guidelines and policies. - Use specialized equipment like Hill-Rom
beds and cribs. - Participate in procedures such as bedside chest
tubes, intubation, CVL and A-line placements. - Work effectively
within set patient ratios: PICU 1:2; IMC 1:3, 1:4 with PCT; Peds
1:5, 1:6 with PCT. - Dress code requires Galaxy blue scrubs. -
