Job Description:
A company is looking for a Quality Assurance - Medical
Coder.
Key Responsibilities
Reviews all Medicare and Medicaid claims for accuracy and
compliance before release
Assigns levels of service and reviews medical records to ensure
billing compliance
Handles a high volume of claims, approximately 250-400 per day
Required Qualifications and Education
Medical background: LPN, RN, EMT, Paramedic, LNA, or Aide
Strong knowledge of medical terminology
Internet speed of 15mbs or higher
Ability to navigate multiple programs simultaneously
Willingness to complete typing speed and accuracy assessments prior
to interview
