Job Description:
A company is looking for an Events Contractor to support the
planning and logistics of a Summer Summit in Detroit.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate pre-logistics for fellows and staff, including travel,
accommodations, and meals
Manage on-site operations and vendor coordination during the Summer
Summit for approximately 100-150 attendees
Maintain consistent communication with the Program Manager and
attend weekly meetings
Required Qualifications
Strong ties and connections to Detroit and local organizations
Experience in medium-scale events or summit planning
Background in racial equity, racial justice, or organizing
Experience in or around the tech industry in Detroit
Experience working with college students
